Special Session: Intelligent Software and Knowledge Representation (IS-KR)
Nowadays there are many practical applications in Artificial Intelligence and the Internet. Intelligent Software has been created to better serve the increasing needs of the people. These kinds of software have been applied in a wide range of areas such as Expert Systems, Intelligent Problems Solver, Decision Support Systems and other Intelligent Systems. Knowledge Representation (KR) and Reasoning are exciting and well-established fields of research in Intelligent Software. KR is a key driver of innovation in computer science. In recent years, KR has also derived challenges from new and emerging fields including the semantic web, computational biology, and the development of software agents.
This special session aims to bring together researchers and developers with all these different backgrounds to discuss and exchange new ideas and the latest achievements in building Intelligent Software and methods for KR.
Relevant topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Knowledge-based systems
- Expert Systems
- Intelligent Problem Solvers
- Decision Support Systems
- Semantic Search Systems
- Methods and Tools for Knowledge Representation
- Ontology Engineering for Knowledge Representation
- Artificial Intelligence Techniques on Software Engineering, and Requirement Engineering
- Intelligent software in education, medical, management, business, …
